All our garments undergo tests to check that the risk of pilling is at an acceptable level. It is natural that wool garments pills, as they are made of delicate wool fibres that are loose and will therefore loosen when it is exposed to external influences. In addition, there is a factor that will affect the wool fibres, which is how warm you are. If you are "warm", the wool fibres will rise, which can lead to a greater risk of a wool fibre loosening.
Yarns made of natural fibres will always emit some fibre. It is the shorter fibres that come to the surface, and if these are removed, they will eventually settle.
We therefore recommend you to use a sharp razor to get rid of the pills. Traditional pill removers can easily cause holes in the clothes if a small thread gets stuck in the remover. With a razor, you avoid getting threads in the pill removal. Use a simple razor with sharp blades, and make sure you do not press the razor hard against the garment - just gently pull it over the area with pilling.
